A successful healed result depends on YOUR aftercare. Please follow the instructions below very carefully! Like any cosmetic procedure, it is a process. Please be patient, the healing process takes a few weeks before you can appreciate the result. The full healing process and skin regeneration takes at least six weeks. Trust the process.
Absorb and Cleanse (Day of)
Directly after the procedure, gently blot the area with a clean cotton round to absorb excess lymph fluid.
Do this every few minutes for one hour or until the oozing has stopped.
Absorbing prevents hardening of the lymphatic fluids and prevents excessive scabbing.
Gently wash your brows using the cleanser provided using clean fingertips.
Pat dry and leave alone. Ointment is not required on the first night to allow the tattoo to breathe.
Wash and Moisturize (Days 1-14)
Gently wash the area each morning and night with the cleanser provided. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.
Cleanse the area in a gentle, circular motion using clean fingertips for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away.
To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue.
Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across
Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The product should be barely noticeable on the skin.
NEVER put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.
Important Reminders
Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days
Let any flaking or dry skin naturally exfoliate away as picking can cause scarring or loss of color.
Avoid facials, Botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
Avoid excessive, sweaty exercise for one week
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 4 weeks after the procedure
Wear a hat when outdoors if it's sunny
Avoid long, hot showers for the first 10 days
Avoid swimming pools, lakes and hot tubs for the first 10 days
Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen directly on the area until fully healed
DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area
Tips for Showering
Limit your showers to 5 minutes so that you do not create too much steam.
Keep your face/treated area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair.
Your face should only be getting wet at the end of the shower.
Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water or steam on the treated area.
